Hawzah News Agency- Senior Iraqi cleric Ayatollah Seyyed Muhammad Taqi Modarresi has emphasized the importance of Iraq facing the numerous challenges that threaten its stability in a meeting with Saad Dawai al-Baaij, the commander of the Popular Mobilization Forces operations in Al-Anbar Province on Tuesday, January 7.

The senior scholar considered unity between the nation and the government to be the key to confronting challenges and achieving stability, and emphasized the need to strengthen cooperation between all security and public institutions to confront ongoing threats.

Stating that achieving security requires national efforts and complete coordination among different segments of society, Ayatollah Modarresi called for strengthening cohesion among Iraqis from all walks of life and regions.

The Iraqi scholar further noted that the religious authorities continue to support all security institutions that help maintain Iraq's security and dignity.

Ayatollah Modarresi appreciated the great sacrifices and efforts of various security institutions, including the Popular Mobilization Forces, in protecting the homeland and holy shrines.
